The hospital provides non-invasive cardiology evaluation and treatment for both inpatient emergent cases in the medical departments’ wards and on an outpatient basis through a specialist clinic (OPD) with new and/or follow-up appointments. This includes clinical cardiology function evaluations for specific cardiology cases.
Examples of patients with cardiology disorders who are evaluated and followed include ischemic heart disease, heart failure, heart arrhythmias, complex hypertension (including pulmonary hypertension), hyperlipidemia, and valvular heart disease.
The department offers various cardiac diagnostic testing modalities, including:
Resting ECG evaluations.
ECG stress tests (treadmill).
Transthoracic and trans-esophageal echocardiography.
Telemetry and Holter monitoring (continuous long-term ECG measurements outside the hospital).
